Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones

at The Wesley Centre

Stepping Stones is run by SBC and Sandbach Methodist Church especially for parents and toddlers, to grow closer to God together, in song and play. Activities include singing and action songs, craft, puzzles, ride-on-toys, soft toys, stories and refreshments.

The parents and tots group is run by SBC for parents and toddlers to meet together and enjoy each other's company in a cosy and caring environment.

at Sandbach Community Primary School

3Fs is run by SBC and the school, as an after-school-club for primary school aged children to grow in Fun, Faith and Fellowship. Activities include singing, games, craft, stories and refreshments.

After School Chill

This chill out time is run by SBC for secondary school aged children to get some refreshments, do homework, hang out together and just chill in a friendly and safe, supportive environment.

Holiday Club

The Holiday Club is run by SBC and Kids-Inc children's ministrys, for all primary school aged children. The school hall is impressively decorated to match the theme (previous themes have been "shpwrecked" and "the jungle") and there are games and crafts. Towards the end of the week there is usually a family BBQ or similar.

A great source of fellowship, help and encouragement to all who attend. This group enjoys Bible study and coffee together and spans a wide age-range and a number of different churches from the town.

Africa

SBC financially and prayerfully supports Joe and Maureen Jones, as they travel across Africa with CFNet. Their activities include spreading the gospel, planting churches, providing Bibles, running feeding programmes and starting schools. If you buy Kay's cards at SBC services or from Oasis, you will be helping to fund this important activity.

Romania

Romania

SBC members raise money for and visit orphaned children at Casa Lumina, part of the Cry in the Dark project, and also at the Robert Cole Centre school for disadvantaged children, supported by the Biggin Hill Romania Group.

SBC supports six children in different countries around the world through Compassion International. We correspond with the children through letters and cards, and raise money for them from the church collection and special fundraising activities.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child

SBC supports Operation Christmas Child by creating shoe-box gifts every year for needy children throughout the world. (Bring your filled boxes to church by mid-November.)
